Stephanie is responsible for providing executive support to the Director of the Marketing Unit, providing secretariat support to the University Marketing Community, managing the office of the Director, daily administration of the MQ Announcements, Macquarie’s daily email bulletin to all staff, and providing back-up for the Unit’s Office Manager when required.
Media and Communications ManagerGreg is responsible for strategic media management at Macquarie including media liaison, media plans and media releases. He administers 'xpertnet' (an email matchmaking service for journalists seeking expert comment) on behalf of all Australian universities. He also assists with corporate marketing campaigns and market research projects.
Media OfficerFiona is responsible for promoting news and research stories, and other activities of Macquarie, to the media. She is a key contact for journalists who require expert comment from Macquarie academics and researchers, as well as information about the University and its activities.
Multimedia Producer
Manager, Liaison ServicesJason is responsible for the overall coordination of the University's liaison and high school outreach initiatives, including the School Partners Program. His responsibilities are to coordinate processes and communication channels to enhance the effectiveness of the liaison team's activities both externally with the high school community and internally within the University.
Advertising Officer
Rachel Rizk (On Maternity Leave till '09)For Australia to continue to be "the clever country", educational organisations must devise strategies and implement activities to address the national decline in upcoming science innovators. Together with members of Macquarie University's Marketing Unit, Rachel Rizk is working with the Divisions of science and technology to encourage young Australians to study science at Macquarie University with a view to pursuing careers in science.

Caroline's role focuses on providing high school outreach activities in the areas of science, engineering and technology. Caroline works closely with Macquarie's science departments to devise high school programs that aim to improve the student experience and get students in touch with science, engineering and technology at Macquarie University. Caroline can be contacted by teachers and career advisers who want to devise science and technology activities to meet their schools needs.

Brodie is the coordinator of the Macquarie University School Partners Program. She is responsible for the running and further development of the School Partners Program, which offers students and staff at partner schools a range of unique services and opportunities. She also works in representing Macquarie at NSW careers markets, school presentations and student visits to the University campus.
Publications ManagerLynn has responsibility for publications generated out of the marketing department including the Undergraduate and Postgraduate handbooks, Calendar of Governance, the Annual Report, Connect with Macquarie, Study at Macquarie, and various course undergraduate and postgraduate booklets.

Alison is responsible for the production of publications including the Undergraduate and Postgraduate handbooks, the Calendar of Governance, the Annual Report, Study at Macquarie, and various course undergraduate and postgraduate booklets. Alison maintains the online handbook throughout the year.
DesignerPhillipa is responsible for designing and placing advertisements for Macquarie University programs and events, and advising Departments on effective advertising. She also designs print materials, and designs and maintains the Public Relations web site. The role is also responsible for Future Student, Postgrad & Beyond, and the Connect with Macquarie web sites, as well as special event web sites such as Movies at Macquarie, Open Day and Pathways Day sites.

Janine is responsible for writing articles for Macquarie University's postgrad e-newsletters, an electronic publication providing information about research, new courses, resources, outstanding students and upcoming events of interest to potential postgrad students. She also prepares Connect with Macquarie, Macquarie's newsletter for Careers Advisers.
Marketing Services Manager (On Maternity Leave till '09)
Acting Advertising and Events Manager Emma is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with targeted community groups and organisations to enhance the University's standing within those communities. She also provides assistance to the Marketing Services Manager in the University major events program and is responsible for sourcing and uploading University events for the Events Calendar and Conferences/Expo Calendar.
Senior Event Officer (Protocol)Losalini Kelei is responsible for providing protocol support to the Vice-Chancellor, the University Executive and VIPs. She supports the development of policy for events procedures and university protocols. She also develops awareness of protocol procedures among staff across campus, while managing protocol services for internal and external events stakeholders. In addition, she provides support in the compiling and updating of print and online protocol/ events collateral, development of publicity on events and VIP liaison.

Deborah's role provides feedback, insights and measurement to support our market planning and communications and to enable us to benchmark and measure improvements to stakeholder perceptions and experiences of Macquarie University. The research covers such areas as brand perception, reputation, student experiences and perceptions, understanding target market drivers and decision processes and effectively positioning new courses.
