Open Day
Students considering undertaking tertiary study
should not miss Macquarie University’s Open Day
in September as it provides an opportunity for
prospective students to get a feel for life at university.
A range of events will be held throughout the day including one-to-one chats with University academics and mini-lectures on popular undergraduate programs such as accounting and finance, chiropractic studies, early childhood, engineering, marketing, and speech and hearing sciences.
Open Day will also provide opportunities for students to learn more about specific courses and subjects, life on campus, how to apply, scholarships, accommodation, sport and career opportunities, as well as ask pertinent questions.
Parents of prospective students will also have an opportunity to learn more about specific issues of importance to them, including the Universities Admission Index, the admission process, the transition from high school to university, the Macquarie Global Leadership Program and international exchange opportunities at two special informational lectures.
Open Day will also include a range of entertainment and activities for visitors. Macquarie Express’ trackless trains will provide a great way to see the campus.
Open Day will be held on Saturday 13 September from 10am until 4pm. Parking is free. Free shuttle buses will operate from Epping and Gordon stations to the University and back between 9.30am and 4pm.
