A Global Perspective
International Students working together
![]() |
Macquarie University students met with European students to gain a global perspective into social and political issues.
The EU AU Global Leadership Forum saw 26 students for the European Union (EU) join Macquarie students for a four-day intensive program on global citizenship looking at themes of multiculturalism, Australian heritage, immigration and identity.
Students participated in the Forum as part of an EU AU Global Citizenship exchange program funded by the EU.
The innovative Forum included academic seminars, experiential learning in various Sydney communities and project work in teams.
Australian students participating in the program now have the opportunity to study at either Malmö University (Sweden), Utrecht University (The Netherlands), the University of Cyprus, or the University of Roma Tre (Italy).
Scholarships are available for Australian students to attend a summer intensive in Europe and also to attend another of the European partner universities. For further information on the EU AU program visit: www.euauglobalcitizenship.org/
