Order of proceedings

The ‘Order of Proceedings’ is an information document that outlines the details of the timeline for your event, the roles played by key individuals, and the order in which it occurs.

List the names and contact telephone numbers (mobile numbers if possible), of necessary people eg important stakeholders, the events staff/manager, security and building supervisor.

Include the names and contact numbers (preferably mobile numbers), of the event organiser and other relevant support staff. This is important so that the speakers, MC, suppliers and stakeholders know who to contact in case of unexpected problems during set up, or on the day of your event.

A comprehensive Order of Proceedings should also show the arrival and departure arrangements for VIPs and how the formal introductions will take place.

Distribute your Order of Proceedings to relevant stakeholders eg
