Marketing your Event

  • You can market your event through flyers, print or electronic advertising, personal invitations, email, listings, media releases, brochures, sandwich boards, banners or a combination of these.
  • Tailor your choices to suit your target audience, budget and desired outcomes.
  • Consider the event aims and how it relates to the University's strategic agenda.
  • Prepare a profile of your target audience(s), determine numbers, profile, source (eg campus/non-campus), and the timing.
