Ticket counting:

Helps you to determine total numbers and peak sales times.

Direct observation

Staff on duty can observe details like: performance quality, audience reaction, crowd flow, adequacy of facilities and signage, and any challenges arising.

Debrief

A round-table debrief with key members of staff involved in the event.

Media monitoring and evaluation

The Marketing Unit monitor media coverage and can assist with media monitoring and evaluation. For further information contact:

Formal methods

Seek feedback from those attending the event. Ask questions about the level of satisfaction with the program, venue, speakers, catering, access issues, publicity and the accuracy/usefulness of pre-event information. You can conduct these through surveys and reports. For assistance with formal evaluation methods contact:
